What's in your closet?

Hey guys!! This time I've decided to list to you guys must have items we need in our closet as students or to take a boring outfit to the next level that doesn't cost a ton of money but can change an outfit..

Black Blazer

A basic black blazer is a must have, it can dress up any outfit or just give it a polished look. Like my fave. girl in the world Rihanna she dresses up a pair of jean shorts and a tee with a black blazer. I brought my blazer that looks exactly like Rihanna's from H&M  that costs around $24.00. Check out their website hm.com to find the nearest store near you.

Animal Print Accents

Cheetah accents bring some spice and excitement in an outfit even something as small as a cheetah bracelet.. Above we see another one of my fave. girls Kim Kardashian add some spice to her neutral colored dress. You can get cheetah or any animal print (cheetah just being my fave.) to spice up an outfit for cheap. My cheetah scarf cost me six dollars from DOTS.

Black and Nude pumps

Now I know all my females know the importance of a pair of black pumps. They are extremely versatile they can be worn to work, with jeans, an interview  and also carry you from the office straight to a round of a drinks. Nude pumps I love! I believe their also very versatile but give an classier sophisticated look. I love Eva Longoria and her wax figure! one wearing nude pumps and one wearing black. amiclubwear.com has so may different colored pumps in amazing prices. If your lucky you might be able to find a pair for seven dollars. (I did!)

Scarves

scarves are an extremely cheap way to bring style into a outfit. They can bring that extra oomph that a usually plain outfit needs. Vanessa Hudgens is seen brightening and coordinating her outfit with a cranberry colored scarf and bag. Scarves can be found anywhere and for good prices. Walmart carries some pretty scarves for five dollars, and forever 21 is another good spot to get beautiful scarves to add to an outfit.

Black Dress

Every lady needs a black dress in their closet. This is another one of those pieces that is versatile. A black dress can be worn to the club with sky high stilettos, or to a business meeting with a blazer.Victoria Beckham one of my fave. fashionistas wears the black dress perfectly and I love her shock of color with the red heels! A little black dress can be found everywhere ( I know I got about 1600) but I would recommend going to dots.com you can find sexy dresses in all colors for a very low price.

Flattering Jeans

Okay you guys I have a slight obsession with Miley Cyrus..okay not slight.. but anyway I had to put her on this list. =) every female needs a pair of jeans in their closet that fits and flatter their body type. You can find jeans anywhere for cheap. Target has a great selection for jeans in fact Audrina Patridge from the hit show the hills was seen wearing a pair from target that cost her 18 dollars and she look great in them!!! (I probably should put that picture  up instead but I wanted my homegirl Miley  =)

Sweats

Now remember that party where you and girls went out to all night long and had a blast? That was during the week? and you had a 8:00 am class the next day? What was your outfit for class that day? Probably sweats. Every college student needs some sweats in their closet. It's not everyday that you want to get gussied up (although I will say I have NEVER worn sweats to school idk why I just can't!!) i got a pair of sweats from DOTS for 1.00 they were on sell.

Hats

Hats can add an extra omph to an outfit like my girl Jada or it can hide a bad hair day. For me I usually have one on to cover a bad hair day or week. I love the hats sold at the beauty supply store that can sell as low as three dollars a piece.


Now this list isn't complete but  you can start collecting some of these if you don't have them... I'll continue on with them some other time.. what do you think should be in my closet?

Hey you guys!!! Today I'm going to be bringing you guys  some of my fave. things and they're all under ten dollars!!!

Neutrogena Body Wash

I absolutely love neutrogena's gentle exfoliating body wash!! it  gently washes away dead skin leaving your skin smooth and soft to the touch and it smells amazing!! it's around six dollars and I made sure to buy three at time because it always hard to come by.. it sells out as soon as its on the shelf!!!

NYX Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

Omg!! I love this stuff!!! I don't really wear foundation on the regular but I love playing with my eyes and this takes off all the gunk!! eyeliner,mascara,eyeshadow it gets rid of all it!! and best of all it does not burn,irritate your eyes in any way!! this costs eight dollars on their website but i got mine for five dollars at my local beauty supply store.

Walmart Makeup Brushes

Now I have so many makeup brushes its crazy!! most of them like my M.A.C brushes have been borrowed (without her knowing) from my mother..don't get me wrong I love them but I always find myself going back to my walmart brushes!! I LOVE these brushes!!! they are ridiculously cheap starting as low as $1.97 you can't beat that!! and their price in no way tells of their quality. They are soft against the skin. I also love the fact that its handle is black,I borrowed some beautiful gold M.A.C. brushes from my mom but after a while I had makeup stains on them and my wooden sonia brushes..I love these walmart brushes because their handle is black therefore hiding any makeup fingerprints they may have!

Cotton Balls

COTTON BALLS!!! these are a lifesaver and can be used for so many things!!! from removing nail polish to applying toner to the face!! I especially love them when I'm using my NYX eye and lip makeup remover.. they are probably the cheapest thing on this list being that they can be found for as low as 97 cents!!!

Ruby Kisses Nail Polish

Now for the most part I spend some money to get my nails professionally done but as way to save some money I usually paint my toes myself and take my nail polish to the nail shop and have them do my nails for me. I love ruby kisses nail polish. After I apply it on my toes it looks like i already added a shiny topcoat! they have a large variety of colors to choose from and they range from a dollar to two dollars.It all depends on the store you find it in.

NYX Blue Mascara

Now I was going to show  you guys some boring black mascara but i decided we can do that later. Now when your thinking blue mascara your probably thinking I'm trying to make you guys look crazy but I actually love it! it brightens up any eye color. You guys already know I love NYX products and this is just another product from them I love not only is the shade blue not overly bright but it glides on smooth and gives your eyes a false eyeslashes look. On the NYX website the mascara goes for five dollars but I spend no more then three dollars for mine at my local beauty supply store.

BLACK FRIDAY!!!! and student discounts..

Hey everyone happy Friday again!!!!

Now as you guys know next week Friday is the day us shopaholics dream for.. Black Friday!!! Where everything from clothes to electronics are for crazy low prices. Now most stores have not yet revealed their ads for Friday.. but I managed to get ahold of some for you guys so check it out!!!

• Now my fave. by far so far is definitely the express sale.. Everything 40% off in the store until Noon and 30 % after Noon!!! this does not include sale items but its still a great deal!! I'll definitely be there ..
• Clearance shoes at Macy's are an additional 50% off.. Everyone knows Macy's clearance rack is bomb so you definitely be able to get a couple of cute shoes to add to your collection
•  $3.99 clutches at AJ Wright..but knowing that store you'll probably be able to find some for even cheaper!!
• Women coats 65-70% off at JCPenney... normally their coats be so expensive!! here's a chance to get one without the expensive tag!!

Now these are only a few but it's a good head start, make a plan of the stores you wanna visit and set a budget for each store.

Student Discounts:There are places that carry discounts all throughout the year and not just on Black Friday for students. Here's a list of some stores I found that give out student discounts...

• J. Crew offers 15% off with college id
• Ann Taylor also offers 15% off with college id
• Ann Taylor's sister company gives student a 15% off discount
• Club Monaco gives a 20% off discount

Also for students who don't live too close to home and sometimes travel through train or plane. Amtrak provides the student advantage card that not only gives discounts on flights and trains but among other things as well here's a list of a few things they provide

• 10% off at Target.com
• Macy's 20% off $100.00 or more online
• Timberland up to 50% off

It's Friday!!! NYX

Hey Everyone!!
Well first I wanna thank God it's freaking friday!! for some reason this week just seemed too long for me!! anyway Im going to ask you guys to be patient with me. Im still trying to find my way around on here. Pretty soon I'll have up some lovely pics of myself and some other stuff too!!  Anyway since this is a blog about being fabulous for cheap i've got to have something down!!! so i decided   to write on makeup this time around. Now since Im still finding my way around this site Im not going to fully break it down for  you guys just yet because I have no pictures up yet but here's a slight preview:Now I love makeup.. I probably have more makeup then a single person (not including makeup artists who actually do makeup for a living) is supposed to have. My fav. item is definitely  eyeshadows!! i love them especially bright colors so i would love to share with you guys my fav. and extremely cheap eyeshadow brand. Now I know you guys have heard of M.A.C (who hasn't) but that doesn't mean because you've heard of it you can afford it. Don't get me wrong I love me some M.A.C but if my whole collection of makeup was M.A.C well i probably wouldn't have this laptop to write to you guys!! anywho.. I absolutely love NYX products!! they are extremely cheap  $5.50 on their website for eyeshadows($2.99  at local beauty supply stores) and are just as if not more  pigmented as M.A.C!!! I will definitely  be putting up a post later on showing you guys some of the looks I've made with NYX and also showing you guys M.A.C dupes from their collection.. I always get the most compliments on my eyeshadow when im wearing NYX. I especially love their bright colors and the base pots..but all that's for a later post!! until next time!!!
      

Girly Girl

For as long as I can remember I have been the ultimate girly girly. I can recall back in second grade when my mother brought me  my first two pair of heels. A black  and white pair. Now the heel was no more than one inch if that , but I loved them and wore them everyday, everywhere. I loved my knee high socks with the skort and matching vest. My mother and i used to get into fights all the time. No those heels were too high. Did i really think she was going to let me out the house with makeup on?? I couldn't wait for the day when I would be free to dress myself and buy whatever I wanted. But since I have some responsibilities  (phone bill, rent , school books, cups of noodles Im a college student y'all know the drill) I couldn't lose control completely with the shopping tip. So I decided I needed a way to still indulge in my favorite pastime, but in a smart sensible way. This blog is dedicated to us girls out there still wanting to look fabulous on a budget hope you enjoy!!
